From a self-neglecting, compulsive overeater to a committed woman driven by love and purpose, who seeks connection and wholeness in her every day life.
The relationship with food and my body has always been utmost difficult while others seemed to have mastered balance and self-control so effortlessly. They knew to stop eating once they started to feel full and they would move their body to feel good instead of misusing food such as sweets for short-term satisfaction or as means to escape reality for a quick moment.
How we treat our bodies is a direct reflection of the relationship we cultivate with our own Self, which I define as the impression we gained from obseving as children how the closest people in our lives — our parents and relatives— treated themselves.
